Optical Branch Manager – Chesterfield

About the role

Lunaria Recruitment is seeking an experienced Optical Branch Manager to lead a modern independent practice in Chesterfield. You will be responsible for delivering a premium in‑store experience while driving commercial growth and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the optical practice, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the patient journey.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve their full potential.
• Identify and act on opportunities for business growth and increased profitability.
• Manage administration, stock control, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and wider network.

Required profile

• Previous management experience within an optical practice (essential).
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially aware with a passion for customer service.
• Organised, confident and self‑motivated.
