Packaging Operator Level 3 – Red Shift (Trainer)

About the role

The Packaging Operator Level 3 works on the Red Shift (19:00‑07:00) schedule, combining hands‑on packaging duties with trainer responsibilities for the Packaging Department.

Key responsibilities

• Train and mentor operators on two or more packaging processes.
• Pick and pack contact lenses for customer orders.
• Monitor compliance with training standards and coordinate with the Training Coordinator.
• Meet production performance targets and quality standards.
• Operate packaging machinery safely and record production data.
• Ship finished orders and support daily operator tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in a packaging environment with interest in a trainer role.
• Ability to read, understand and work to SOPs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Punctuality and good spoken English.
• Effective prioritisation and multi‑skill capability.

Required skills

• PC literate.
• Manual handling techniques.
• Operating machinery safely.
• Pick and pack contact lenses.
