Paid Search Lead, UK

About the role

Eucalyptus, a digital healthcare platform, is looking for a Paid Search Lead to own and scale its search channel growth in the UK market. This is a hands-on growth role covering the full Google ecosystem, from bidding and targeting through landing page experimentation and performance analysis, with seven-figure monthly budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the UK Google Search growth strategy across Performance Max, Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube and Gmail
• Manage and optimise seven-figure monthly media budgets with Allocation and Performance Managers
• Lead A/B and multivariate landing page testing and turn performance data into insights
• Work with design, analytics and engineering to improve CTR, CVR and ROAS
• Embed testing and optimisation across the funnel and stay ahead of Google feature and policy changes, including healthcare advertising compliance
• Report on performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and Looker Studio
• Analyse competitors and UK market trends to refine bidding and targeting strategies
• Work with product, marketing, design and the Growth Lead on consistent messaging

Required profile

• 4+ years in search or paid media, with deep hands-on experience managing Google campaigns
• Proven track record planning, running and interpreting landing page experiments
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma or insurance
• D2C, consumer or subscription business experience, with a focus on acquisition, retention and lifetime value
• Strong understanding of UK consumer behaviour and campaign localisation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required skills

• Google Ads, including advanced campaign types and automation such as Performance Max
• Google Analytics, Search Console and Looker Studio
• Ability to form data-driven hypotheses and set success metrics
• Familiarity with healthcare search compliance is highly desirable
• Experience scaling search in multi-market or global organisations and using first-party data is a plus
