Paralegal – Conveyancing Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

We are expanding our conveyancing team and are looking for a Paralegal with solid experience in Transfer of Equity and Assent transactions. The role is hybrid, based in Weston‑super‑Mare, and offers the chance to work independently on a variety of property‑related legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review legal documentation for property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, TR1s and Assents.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transfers.
• Conduct title searches, verify ownership details and manage Land Registry applications.
• Submit SDLT returns, handle lender consent requests and coordinate with external agencies.
• Maintain accurate case files and organise records using Microsoft Office applications.
• Provide regular updates to clients on case progress and manage appointment scheduling and deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years proven conveyancing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts.
• Excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail and effective time‑management.
• Fluent English and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
