Paralegal – Litigation Executive (Aviation)

About the role

HF is seeking an experienced Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join its Aviation team in Leeds. The role involves supporting aviation insurers and their clients worldwide, handling a variety of claims and contributing to the team’s high‑profile litigation work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑litigation and litigated Personal Injury, Discrimination, EC1107/2006 and Property Damage claims up to £100,000 under supervision.
• Assist Partners and Associate Partners with higher‑value or complex claims, providing research and administrative support.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering clear and commercially‑aware advice.
• Participate in liability and quantum dispute handling, ensuring accurate implementation of instructions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, threats and opportunities, and contribute to the firm’s strategic objectives.
• Undertake occasional work‑related travel as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Paralegal or Litigation Executive, preferably within a legal or insurance environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to discuss industry developments confidently.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on client confidence and relationship building.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a hybrid team setting.
