Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Paraplanner to join our growing financial planning team in Marlborough. You will work closely with experienced Financial Planners to deliver high‑quality, personalised advice to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality suitability reports for client recommendations.
• Conduct detailed research on financial products, providers and strategies.
• Support Financial Planners with client reviews and ongoing planning needs.
• Act as a technical contact for planner and client queries.
• Submit applications to providers and manage related documentation.
• Maintain accurate, compliant and well‑presented client records.
• Ensure all work complies with FCA and internal standards.

Required profile

• Previous paraplanning experience within financial advice.
• Diploma qualification or willingness to study further.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Intelligent Office (experience highly desirable).
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
