Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a leading independent financial planning firm in Brighton. You will provide end‑to‑end technical support to advisers throughout the client lifecycle, working on a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Produce suitability, annual review and portfolio reports using Intelligent Office.
• Conduct technical research, analysis and illustrations to support advice.
• Run cash‑flow, risk‑profiling and investment analyses.
• Act as the primary liaison between providers and advisers on transfers, new business and policy administration.
• Support high‑net‑worth clients and attend client meetings alongside advisers.
• Liaise with compliance to ensure accurate fee and commission records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in paraplanning.
• Level 4 Diploma qualification (CISI Level 4 / DipPP).
• Excellent report‑writing, research and analytical abilities.
• Structured, process‑driven approach with strong attention to detail.
• Confident client communicator capable of building trusted relationships.
