Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a respected independent financial planning practice in Reigate. You will work closely with Financial Advisers, providing high‑quality technical documentation and research to support tailored client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and other technical documentation for client portfolios.
• Conduct research on pensions, investments, and protection products.
• Produce financial analysis and support recommendations for advisers.
• Handle post‑meeting tasks such as fund switches, withdrawals, and policy information requests.
• Liaise with providers and third‑party administrators to obtain necessary data.
• Manage your own workflow, ensuring deadlines are met and client queries are addressed.
• Collaborate with client support and operations teams on projects and regulatory initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner or senior financial planning administrator.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products.
• Proven ability to prepare suitability reports and conduct technical research.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes.
• Progress towards or completion of Level 4 Diploma qualifications is advantageous.
