Paraplanner – First Step into Team Leader Role

About the role

Our client, a respected chartered practice near Guildford, is looking for an experienced Paraplanner ready to take the first step into a Team Leader position. The role combines hands‑on paraplanning work with the opportunity to develop leadership skills in a supportive, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex, bespoke paraplanning solutions for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Mentor and support junior team members, answering technical queries.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Paraplanning for guidance and development.
• Gradually assume more team‑lead responsibilities while maintaining a strong client focus.

Required profile

• Significant paraplanning experience within an independent, whole‑of‑market financial planning firm.
• Diploma‑qualified with aspirations to achieve Chartered status.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and holistic financial planning.
• Natural inclination to help, mentor and support colleagues.

What we offer

• Salary up to £55,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
