Paraplanner – Hybrid Working – Up to £46,000 + Benefits

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a forward-thinking wealth management team in Maidenhead. The role combines technical research, report writing and close collaboration with financial advisers to deliver tailored solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of financial products and investment options.
• Prepare bespoke investment and financial planning reports for advisers and clients.
• Analyse existing client portfolios against appropriate benchmarks and recommend adjustments.
• Produce complex suitability and financial planning recommendations, including pension and transfer analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with legislative, regulatory and technical developments.
• Support and mentor trainee paraplanners, sharing technical knowledge.
• Contribute to internal research projects and meet agreed service levels.

Required profile

• Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification.
• Proven paraplanning experience within an IFA or wealth-management environment.
• Strong financial planning knowledge and high attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
