Paraplanner – IFA Practice (Path to Advisor)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our respected independent financial advice practice. Working remotely from Croydon, you will provide high‑level technical support to advisers, helping shape client financial futures while progressing towards an advisory role.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality suitability reports and recommendation letters.
• Conduct detailed research across pensions, investments, protection and broader financial planning solutions.
• Analyse client circumstances and deliver technical support to Financial Advisers.
• Prepare illustrations, product comparisons and conduct provider research.
• Liaise with providers, platforms and third parties to obtain accurate technical information.
• Ensure all recommendations meet FCA and internal compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate client records using CRM and provider platforms.
• Support advisers throughout the entire planning journey, from research to implementation.

Required profile

• Proven Paraplanning experience within an Independent Financial Advice or wealth‑management environment.
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments, protection and financial planning concepts.
• Ability to produce clear, compliant documentation and recommendations.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using financial‑planning and provider platforms.
