Paraplanner – Path to Chartered Adviser – Guildford

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious paraplanner who is committed to building a career in financial advice. This permanent, full‑time position offers a structured pathway to Chartered Adviser status, with hands‑on exposure to high‑net‑worth client portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Attend client meetings alongside senior advisers and observe decision‑making processes.
• Prepare suitability reports and conduct research across pensions, investments, retirement, tax and inheritance planning.
• Develop cash‑flow models for clients with investable assets ranging from £500,000 to £30 million.
• Support senior advisers with technical analysis and documentation.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma qualified or progressing towards it.
• Minimum two years of paraplanning experience.
• Strong enthusiasm for client‑focused technical work.
• Professional presentation and attention to detail.
