Paraplanner – Path to Financial Adviser in City of London

About the role

We are seeking a Diploma‑qualified Paraplanner to join a leading Chartered Wealth Management firm in the City of London. This position offers a clear progression route to a client‑facing Financial Adviser role, supported by comprehensive training and a strong technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end paraplanning support to senior Financial Advisers.
• Prepare detailed suitability reports covering pensions, investments, tax and retirement planning.
• Conduct technical research and product analysis to underpin client recommendations.
• Attend client meetings in the City office as you progress.
• Present Voyant cashflow modelling outputs to clients during review meetings.
• Liaise with advisers, paraplanning colleagues and the wider technical team.
• Ensure all advice complies with FCA standards.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).
• Minimum 2 years paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax and retirement planning.
