Paraplanner Team Leader

About the role

Our client, a respected Chartered financial planning practice near Guildford, is seeking a Paraplanner Team Leader. The role blends hands‑on paraplanning with leadership, allowing you to stay technical while guiding a growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day workflow of the paraplanning function.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior paraplanners.
• Allocate work, manage queries and ensure high‑quality client deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Paraplanning on strategy and quality control.
• Maintain a hands‑on caseload of complex paraplanning projects.

Required profile

• Significant paraplanning experience, preferably in an independent, whole‑of‑market financial planning environment.
• Minimum Diploma qualification with ambition to achieve Chartered status.
• Proven experience in mentoring colleagues or allocating work.
• Strong commitment to client‑care and collaborative culture.
