Paraplanner – Technical Tax Planning

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning firm in Harrow. You will work closely with four Advisors, handling complex tax planning cases and contributing to high‑quality client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare clear, compliant reports across a range of advice areas, including advanced planning.
• Manage technical cases, especially inheritance tax mitigation and business relief recommendations.
• Collaborate with Advisors to ensure smooth client journeys and efficient workflow.
• Support a pooled ticketing system to deliver consistent paraplanning services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of paraplanning experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of inheritance tax (IHT) and business relief (BPR) cases.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Experience supporting multiple Advisors is preferred.

What we offer

• Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per year.
• Hybrid working options with office bases in Harrow, Guildford or Rickmansworth.
