Parcel Delivery Driver (Part‑time Contractor)

About the role

Royal Mail is seeking a part‑time Parcel Delivery Driver for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract based in Fareham. You will work 30 hours per week across a flexible schedule, primarily between 14:30 and 21:00, with occasional Sunday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver parcels to residential and business addresses.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a clean and road‑worthy vehicle.
• Provide courteous customer service and represent the Royal Mail brand.
• Adhere to health, safety and traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and reliable.
• Enjoy interacting with the local community.
• Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
