Part-Time Care & Support Worker – Bridgend

About the role

Airmid Staffing is recruiting experienced Care & Support Workers for part-time work in the Bridgend area. The role supports a 7-year-old female with ASD and learning disabilities to take part in daily play activities and gives her parents respite. Shifts are 4 and 5 hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients with outdoor activities such as walking and other activities
• Build positive, trusting relationships
• Help develop routines and encourage independence
• Support clients in accessing their community and social activities
• Help people try new experiences and enjoy the things they love

Required profile

• Experience supporting people with autism or learning disabilities
• Caring, patient and approachable, able to get out and about with clients
• Reliable, dependable and able to work well as part of a team
• Passion for helping people live happy, meaningful lives
• Being a driver is advantageous

What we offer

• Pay of £16.25 per hour plus accrued holiday pay (up to 28 days per year, including bank holidays)
