Part-Time Care & Support Worker – Treorchy

About the role

Airmid Staffing is recruiting experienced Care & Support Workers in Treorchy to support a 13-year-old young lady with an autism diagnosis. The work is person-centred, focused on building relationships and helping clients live active, independent lives. Positions are part-time, at £16.25 per hour plus accrued holiday pay.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients with the things that matter to them, such as going for walks and exploring the local community
• Encourage swimming and other activities
• Build positive, trusting relationships
• Help develop routines and encourage independence
• Support clients in accessing community and social activities
• Help people try new experiences and enjoy the things they love

Required profile

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities
• Caring, patient and approachable, able to build strong, positive relationships
• Reliable and dependable, confident working as part of a team
• Enjoys being active and getting out and about
• Being a driver would be advantageous

What we offer

• Pay of £16.25 per hour plus holiday pay, accrued up to 28 days per year including bank holidays

• Flexible hours, including days, weekends, overnight and Friday night shifts
