Part-Time Fitness Coach

About the role

JD Gyms is looking for a part-time Fitness Coach in Bury. You will help create a positive and welcoming experience for members on every visit, through member engagement, gym inductions, group exercise classes and maintaining high club standards.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with members on the gym floor and deliver welcoming, engaging prospective member tours in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive group exercise classes and informative member inductions.
• Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
• Conduct club standards checks and record results accurately, and maintain club cleanliness to the highest standard.
• Provide ad hoc support to members and ensure the club is safe and compliant with health and safety action points.
• Maintain excellent brand standards and monitor service delivery through performance and member feedback.
• Work safely in line with company policies, procedures and legislation, and support energy efficiency, environmental initiatives and responsible waste management.
• Analyse and present key data to support new ideas, initiatives and proposed developments.

Required profile

• Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualification.
• Passion for fitness, health and wellbeing, and a strong understanding of the importance of a great member experience.
• Flexible in approach to hours worked; able to adapt communication styles to different members and colleagues.
• Enjoys teamwork and collaboration, and is open to feedback and continuous learning.
