About the role
Join Decathlon UK as a Part‑Time Hiking Sport Advisor and help customers discover the joy of sport. You will work on the shop floor, providing expert advice on hiking equipment and supporting an omnichannel retail experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver enthusiastic, sport‑focused customer service, sharing personal tips and technical product knowledge.
- Assist customers both in‑store and online, ensuring a seamless omnichannel shopping experience.
- Manage stock levels, pricing, and merchandising to keep the hiking zone well‑presented and easy to navigate.
- Collaborate with fellow sales assistants, contributing to a positive team atmosphere and covering busy periods such as weekends and holidays.
Required profile
- Passion for sport, especially hiking, and a desire to combine it with work.
- People‑oriented, willing to go the extra mile for customers.
- Strong communication skills and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
