Part-time Housekeeper for Retirement Village

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our team at Lime Tree Retirement Village on a part‑time basis. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, both in their private apartments and in shared communal areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of residents' apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Launder and care for residents' linens and clothing with attention to detail.
• Keep communal spaces such as lounges, dining rooms, and hallways tidy and presentable.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as required.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene throughout the village.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanour.
• Sensitivity to the needs and preferences of older adults.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.
