Part-Time Passenger Assistant – Transport Support for Children & Adults

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Passenger Assistant to safely transport children, young people and vulnerable adults to schools, colleges and day‑care centres in the Bristol area. The role offers flexible, term‑time hours and the chance to make a real difference in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Transport special‑needs or vulnerable passengers to and from their destinations.
• Assist the driver in company‑provided vehicles, including cars, 8‑seat people carriers and wheelchair‑accessible vans.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment and keep passengers occupied during journeys.
• Build positive, professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents and staff at the venues.
• Support the overall operation of the transport service by working flexibly and reliably.

Required profile

• Enhanced DBS (criminal record) check clearance.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Current First Aid certification and willingness to undertake advanced medical training.
• Patience, empathy and a commitment to passenger safety.
