Part-time Patent Paralegal – South East England

About the role

We are partnering with a boutique intellectual‑property firm that needs a part‑time Patent Paralegal to support its attorneys. The role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and a high degree of autonomy, making it ideal for a busy professional who enjoys managing a variety of patent‑related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a broad range of patent duties, from docketing to filing.
• Prepare and review patent documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist attorneys with research, correspondence, and case management.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Patent Paralegal in a similar setting.
• Hands‑on experience with patent procedures and documentation.
• Ideally CIPA qualified, demonstrating a solid understanding of intellectual‑property practice.
• Ability to work independently and handle a high workload.
