Partner – Residential Real Estate

About the role

Birketts LLP is seeking a Partner to lead its Residential Real Estate practice in Sevenoaks. The role combines senior legal expertise with business development and team leadership, contributing to the firm’s growth and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the Residential Real Estate business through existing and new client connections.
• Lead, mentor and grow the existing team of residential real estate lawyers across all offices.
• Identify and pursue new work types and diversification opportunities.
• Act as the primary interface between team members and senior management, shaping team strategy and employee experience.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management of the practice, ensuring high‑quality client service and technical excellence.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in residential real estate law, preferably within a multi‑office firm.
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
• Ability to contribute to firm‑wide strategy and culture as an ambassador.
