About the role
The Activities Coordinator will plan and organise a variety of activities for residents at Gold Care Homes, supporting their social, intellectual and spiritual well‑being. The role is 10 hours per week with occasional additional hours for outings and events.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daytime and evening activities for all residents.
- Support residents’ social, intellectual and spiritual well‑being through tailored programmes.
- Coordinate activity schedules with other services in the facility.
- Maintain clear communication with managers, senior care assistants, chefs and relatives.
- Record activity outcomes and update resident care plans.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met during all activities.
- Promote resident participation and document outcomes.
- Provide backup support to staff as needed.
