Part‑time Cleaner – Torquay Academy

About the role
We are looking for two reliable and conscientious cleaners to join the team at Torquay Academy. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff across the Academy premises.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in and around the Academy building according to the specification.
- Work as part of a team to deliver consistent cleaning services.
- Follow directions from the line manager and adapt to any ad‑hoc cleaning needs.
- Maintain awareness of the Academy’s ethos and be respectful towards students.
Required profile
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Conscientious with a strong attention to detail.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willing to undergo Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and other employment checks.

- Hourly rate of £14.96 (incl. holiday pay) – £25,219 FTE.
