Part‑time Cleaning Assistant – School Environment

About the role

Claires Court is seeking reliable part‑time Cleaning Assistants to maintain high standards of cleanliness across its three school sites in Maidenhead. The role can be taken on a term‑time (36 weeks) or full‑year (52 weeks) basis, with a variety of morning and afternoon shifts available.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in allocated areas according to school standards and cleaning schedules.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment, machinery and handle cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Store and organise cleaning supplies, keeping equipment areas tidy.
• Report any hazards, defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide cover for colleagues and attend training sessions as required.
• Follow safeguarding and health‑and‑safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures.
• Ability to work early‑morning or afternoon shifts as listed.
• Eligibility to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Use of standard cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
