Part‑time Customer Support Representative – Newcastle

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Customer Support Representative to work in our Newcastle branches (Monument Mall and Halifax Haymarket). You will provide face‑to‑face assistance to customers, helping them with everyday banking tasks and offering guidance during important moments such as bereavement, fraud concerns or vulnerable‑customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, in‑branch service to customers across Lloyds and Halifax locations.
• Assist customers with transactions, digital banking set‑up and problem resolution.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to appropriate products and services.
• Adapt working hours when required to meet changing demand.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of customer‑service experience.
• Strong empathy, integrity and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to learn banking processes and digital tools.
