Part‑time Data Analyst – Southend-on‑Sea

About the role

Our client in Southend‑on‑Sea is seeking a part‑time Data Analyst to deliver accurate, audit‑ready reporting and drive data‑quality improvements across their Salesforce‑based CRM. Working closely with the Data Manager, you will turn large datasets into clear insights that support operational and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse housing, rent and service datasets to produce quarterly, year‑end and board‑level reports and dashboards.
• Maintain and centralise tenancy data in the In‑Form (Salesforce) system, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Identify and resolve data‑quality issues, train staff on correct data entry, and manage system administrator privileges.
• Assist the Data Manager in configuring, testing and implementing the refreshed CRM, using Microsoft Power Platform tools for reporting.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners to understand reporting needs.
• Ensure all data handling complies with GDPR and internal data‑protection policies.
• Monitor expenditure related to the role and stay within approved budgets.

Required profile

• Proven experience analysing large datasets and spotting trends or anomalies.
• Strong attention to data governance, audit readiness and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
