Part‑time Housekeeper – 22.5 hrs/week

About the role

Circle Health Group is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team at Werndale Hospital in Carmarthen. This is a permanent, part‑time position working 22.5 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake day‑to‑day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe, clean and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables as required.
• Provide cleaning support across all departments, including theatre areas and other Circle Health Group sites when requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit them to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with all mandatory training and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• GCSE English and Maths at grades A‑C or equivalent functional skills Level 2.
• Ability to work flexible evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a PC and relevant software systems.
