Part‑time Retail Supervisor (24 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Retail Supervisor to join our Pontefract store. Working a minimum of 24 hours per week, you will support the store manager and help ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the manager in leading the team and delivering excellent customer service.
• Run the shop in the manager’s absence, including opening and closing duties.
• Handle cash, place orders and manage stock deliveries.
• Develop and coach retail assistants.
• Control operational costs such as shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Required profile

• Friendly, positive and hard‑working attitude.
• People‑person who builds strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable, able to work independently.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail (preferred but not mandatory).
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check.
