About the role

Join Heron Foods as a Part‑Time Store Assistant in Carlisle. In this hands‑on role you’ll support daily store operations, ensuring shelves are stocked and customers receive friendly service.

Key responsibilities

• Unload and organise deliveries to keep stock flowing.
• Maintain tidy, fully stocked shelves for an optimal shopping experience.
• Greet customers, answer queries and provide assistance with a helpful attitude.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily targets and uphold store standards.

Required profile

• Enjoy helping customers and working as part of a team.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable in a busy retail environment.
• Previous experience in retail, sales or hospitality is a plus but not essential.
