Part‑time Swimming Teacher (Weekends)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic swimming teachers to deliver weekend lessons for babies and children across Croydon, London and Surrey. The role is self‑employed, part‑time and focuses on teaching water safety, basic swimming techniques and building confidence in young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging swimming sessions for ages from infants to toddlers.
• Teach water safety and lifesaving basics to children and their parents.
• Maintain a safe and clean pool environment during each class.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents.
• Participate in mandatory training webinars and practical pool sessions.

Required profile

• Passion for swimming and working with young children.
• Availability to teach on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Willingness to complete a 3‑month training programme, including DBS and lifeguarding certification.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently as a freelance instructor.
