PCV Driver (Part Time) – School Transport (Term Time Only)

About the role
We are seeking a reliable Part‑Time PCV Driver to join our school transport team during term time. The role covers routes in Wigton, Penrith and Lillyhall and offers flexible shifts with the possibility of extra hours.
Key responsibilities
- Drive various PCV vehicles safely on school routes.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all passengers.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑journey vehicle checks.
- Keep the vehicle clean and ready for service.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated individual who enjoys teamwork and customer service.
- Good knowledge of the local area.
- Ability to pass standard security checks.
Required skills
- Valid Category D licence.
- Current Driver CPC qualification.
- At least one year of PCV driving experience.
- Familiarity with local routes and schools.
