Pensions Implementation / Transition Analyst

About the role

Oliver James is looking for an analytical and detail‑oriented Implementation Analyst to join its growing pensions operations team in Manchester. You will support the onboarding, transition and ongoing management of complex pension schemes, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support pension scheme onboarding and implementation activities.
• Assist with data validation, cleansing and quality‑assurance exercises.
• Review scheme data, identify risks and support data migration projects.
• Maintain accurate management information and reporting.
• Help with member option calculations and operational processes.
• Liaise with trustees, administrators and internal stakeholders.
• Support payroll and administration transition activities.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and operational‑efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in pensions, financial services, operations, administration or a data‑focused environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
