Pensions & Investments Administrator – Stockport

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Pensions & Investments Administrator to join a reputable independent and chartered financial planning firm in Stockport. You will work within the Financial Planning Support Team, providing high‑quality administrative assistance to financial planners and ensuring smooth delivery of advice services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare written advice reports and client review reports covering pensions, investments and protection.
• Maintain client records, complete application forms and manage submissions.
• Support the Financial Planning team in delivering professional financial planning services.
• Draft suitability and review reports appropriate to the level of advice required.
• Ensure all compliance paperwork is complete and up‑to‑date.
• Maintain core systems such as Intelligent Office, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and act in accordance with compliance and legislative obligations.
• Participate in team meetings, raise issues and follow through to resolution.
• Assist with occasional administrative tasks including new business processing, income matching and organising client meetings.

Required profile

• At least 12‑18 months experience in a similar administrative role within financial planning or a related financial services environment.
• Good knowledge of pension, investment and protection advice processes.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Intelligent Office or comparable client‑management systems.
