About the role

The People Operations Coordinator is a key member of Teneo’s Global People Operations team, delivering a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle. Working in a hybrid model from one of our UK offices, you will be the first point of contact for staff and managers, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide routine HR support to managers and employees, promoting self‑service while offering additional assistance as needed.
  • Track and manage onboarding, visa sponsorships (including renewals), probation, and off‑boarding processes.
  • Administer changes to employment conditions such as promotions, flexible working, and internal or international transfers, keeping documentation and Workday up‑to‑date.
  • Act as a front‑end Subject Matter Expert for Workday, guiding users on system functionality and HR processes.
  • Collaborate with payroll teams or external vendors to ensure accurate monthly payroll runs.
  • Prepare contractor agreements and oversee contractor onboarding and off‑boarding in Workday, assessing classification against local legislation.
  • Identify reporting needs, propose improvements and work with the HRIS team to implement solutions.
  • Support cyclical activities such as goal setting, performance, promotion and compensation reviews, including training and Workday assistance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies, processes and documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits, pension portal and guide staff through family‑leave policies.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an HR Administrator or HR Officer.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification and/or a bachelor’s degree in HR, business management, psychology or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
