Permanent Construction Labourer

About the role

We are recruiting a Labourer for a permanent position working across two new‑build residential housing sites. The role is ideal for a reliable, hard‑working individual who is happy to travel between sites and seeks long‑term, stable employment in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

• General labouring duties on new‑build residential housing sites
• Assist trades such as bricklayers, joiners, plumbers, electricians, and site managers
• Load and move materials around the site
• Keep plots, walkways, and work areas clean, safe and tidy
• Assist with deliveries and unload materials
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on site
• Travel between two sites as required to support operations

Required profile

• Previous experience as a site labourer (new‑build housing experience preferred)
• Valid CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive between sites
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work

What we offer

• Permanent contract with a well‑established contractor
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45
• 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Saturday work available and paid at 1.5× overtime rate
