Permanent Production Operative

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join our fast‑paced manufacturing site in Heybridge. The role is hands‑on, ensuring production lines run safely, efficiently and to quality standards while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and achieve daily production targets.
• Follow and promote all health & safety procedures.
• Support SOP creation and ensure compliance.
• Carry out product checks using calibrated equipment.
• Complete production reporting and shift handovers.
• Assist with basic maintenance and material control.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ manufacturing experience.
• Apprentice trained or equivalent (FLT experience preferred).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts and weekends.
