Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced solicitor to join our Ilford office, handling claimant personal injury and clinical negligence matters. The role involves managing cases from instruction through to resolution, providing high‑quality client care within a Lexcel‑accredited, Legal 500‑recognised firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of personal injury and medical negligence claims from inception to conclusion.
• Assess liability and quantum, gather evidence and review medical records.
• Liaise with medical experts, counsel and other professionals.
• Draft court documents, pleadings and legal correspondence.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients throughout litigation.
• Represent clients at mediations, settlement meetings and court hearings.
• Ensure compliance with procedural deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience handling claimant personal injury and medical negligence matters.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
