Personal Injury Solicitor – Catastrophic Injury Associate

About the role

G2 Legal Limited, a leading international law firm, is seeking an ambitious Associate to join its highly regarded Catastrophic Injury team in Birmingham. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to work on complex, high‑value personal injury claims alongside recognised specialists in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and assist with a caseload of catastrophic injury claims.
• Investigate liability and quantum issues on complex, high‑value cases.
• Support senior lawyers on technically challenging and sensitive matters.
• Liaise with clients, experts, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice.
• Participate in client relationship management and business development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or CILEX qualified.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven experience defending catastrophic injury claims.
• Strong negotiation and case management abilities.
• Direct client contact experience and involvement in business development initiatives.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
