Personal Injury Solicitor – South Wales (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practising rights to join a well‑established South Wales law firm. The role offers a hybrid working model based in either Pontypool or Cardiff, allowing you to manage a diverse personal injury caseload while staying closely connected to clients and colleagues across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of workplace accident, public liability and road traffic accident claims from instruction through to settlement or hearing.
• Provide clear, practical and empathetic advice to both individual and organisational clients.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including trade union representatives where relevant.
• Maintain high standards of compliance, file management and documentation.
• Support junior team members and contribute to the development of the personal injury team.
• Attend regional conferences, training sessions and networking events.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practising rights.
• Minimum two years post‑qualification experience (or equivalent) in personal injury law.
• Proven track record handling workplace accident claims.
• Strong knowledge of public liability and road traffic accident litigation.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Collaborative mindset with an interest in building a regional practice.

Required skills

• Practising rights as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Experience in workplace accident, public liability and RTA claims.
