Personal Tax Accountant - A tax role with a difference

About the role

We are partnering with a long‑established legal firm that is expanding its Private Client team. As a Personal Tax Accountant you will advise high‑net‑worth individuals and families on a range of complex tax matters while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal tax returns, trust tax returns, estate tax filings and related compliance work.
• Provide specialist advice on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and other UK tax legislation.
• Collaborate closely with solicitors, trustees, executors and HMRC to resolve tax issues.
• Support and train junior colleagues within the team.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service.

Required profile

• Professional qualification as an Accountant or Tax Accountant.
• Demonstrated experience in personal, trust and estate taxation.
• Proactive, organised and client‑focused attitude.
• Looking for a long‑term position within a supportive firm.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UK personal, trust and estate tax legislation.
