Personal Tax Accountant – Bournemouth (≈£55k)

About the role

Bond Williams is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Accountant to join its Private Client team in Bournemouth. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid remote options, and the chance to work with a well‑established professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, representatives, fee earners and third parties to gather information for income tax and capital gains tax compliance.
• Register clients for Self Assessment and complete returns for individuals, trusts and estates.
• Communicate with HMRC to ensure correct charges and timely advice for clients.
• Provide basic in‑house training on tax computations and software.
• Prepare trust accounts, tax certificates for beneficiaries, and Capital Gains Tax returns.
• Manage AEOI, CRBOT and other online trust registrations.
• Compute Inheritance Tax liabilities and handle email/telephone enquiries.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant or Tax Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of personal, estate, trust, capital gains and inheritance tax.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software.
• IT literacy.
