Personal Tax Senior – Camberley, Surrey

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join a respected accountancy and advisory firm in Camberley. You will work within an established tax team, managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients and delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, providing ongoing support.
• Prepare and review self‑assessment tax returns.
• Calculate and report Capital Gains Tax liabilities.
• Advise clients on residency, overseas income, and related tax matters.
• Provide guidance on SDLT, trusts, and broader personal tax issues.
• Liaise directly with HMRC and clients to resolve queries.
• Identify and recommend tax planning opportunities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Experience working in a UK accountancy practice tax team.
• ATT qualified, ATT finalist, or qualified by experience.
• Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance.
• Ability to manage an independent client portfolio.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
