Personal Tax Senior – Chipping Norton

About the role

Pro‑Finance, an independent accountancy practice in Chipping Norton, is seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join its private client team. The role offers a balanced mix of compliance and advisory work for high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, estates and capital gains tax matters within a friendly, flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review self‑assessment tax returns for private clients.
• Manage personal tax client relationships and act as the main point of contact.
• Handle capital gains tax calculations and rental property taxation.
• Assist with trusts, estate tax matters and inheritance tax planning projects.
• Liaise with clients and professional contacts to resolve tax queries.
• Support senior tax team members on complex planning and advisory assignments.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff where appropriate.

Required profile

• ATT, CTA, part‑qualified or qualified by experience with strong personal tax exposure.
• Demonstrated experience in personal tax compliance within an accountancy practice.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a personal client portfolio.
• Interest in developing broader advisory experience over time.
