Personal Tax Senior Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest‑growing independent tax practices. As a Senior Manager in the Private Client team, you will lead personal tax compliance and contribute to the firm’s strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high‑quality personal tax compliance for a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and trustees.
• Manage deadlines, ensure seamless client experience and maintain rigorous quality standards.
• Lead advisory projects covering income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, trusts and estates, remuneration and extraction planning, succession planning and residency matters.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships and collaborate with professional intermediaries.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the Private Client team, review complex technical work and support service‑line strategy.

Required profile

• Significant experience in private client or personal tax within a professional services environment.
• Proven track record managing self‑assessment tax returns for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong commercial focus and ability to deliver commercially‑oriented advice.
• Leadership capability with experience mentoring junior staff.
