Personal Tax Senior – Private Client Team

About the role

This is a permanent, hybrid position based in the City of London, offering a clear route to an Assistant Manager role within a respected private client team. You will manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs and trusts, working closely with senior managers and partners to deliver high‑quality tax advice.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of private clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Prepare and review complex self‑assessment tax returns and related computations.
• Support partnership tax matters and prepare partnership returns where required.
• Advise clients on compliance obligations, legislative changes and planning opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients to assess tax implications of personal and business changes.
• Ensure work is delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with risk and compliance standards.
• Assist partners and managers on ad‑hoc advisory projects as the portfolio develops.

Required profile

• ATT qualified (or equivalent) and actively studying towards CTA qualification.
• Current experience within a UK accountancy practice, preferably in private client or personal tax compliance.
• Experience managing relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, business owners and entrepreneurial clients.
• Strong attention to detail and commercially aware.
• Motivated to progress within a leading private client team.
