Pharmacist – 30‑hour part‑time role

About the role

Join Asda’s pharmacy team in Yeovil as a qualified pharmacist working 30 hours per week. You will deliver NHS and private pharmacy services, ensuring patient safety and high‑quality care while supporting a busy retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and provide clinical advice to patients.
• Deliver contractual and enhanced NHS services in line with company SOPs and GPhC standards.
• Lead and develop the pharmacy team to meet performance targets.
• Collaborate with in‑store, regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service queries.
• Maintain accurate records, conduct regular audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Right to work in the UK and up‑to‑date safeguarding qualifications.
• Strong communication and empathetic patient‑facing skills.
• Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced pharmacy setting.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check and enrol in live‑update service.
