Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Addingham, West Yorkshire)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated, patient‑focused pharmacist to join our Addingham community pharmacy. You will work in a busy branch that dispenses around 8,000 items per month, using ProScript Connect and Medipac robotic distribution to streamline workflow and free time for patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide medication counselling, answer patient queries and support self‑care.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimise treatment plans.
• Conduct medication reviews and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient records and ensure safe medication management.
• Deliver immunisation services where applicable.
• Promote health‑promotion initiatives and public‑health campaigns.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong commitment to patient safety and care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Current knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.
• Flexible, positive approach to problem‑solving.
